Super excited to share my story with you!
I am a Latin-American bilingual woman with a deep-rooted passion for communication and helping others find their breakthrough. Throughout my life, I’ve faced adversity—struggling with learning and retention and enduring seasons of hidden homelessness. Yet, through perseverance, faith, and determination, I’ve been able to rise above those challenges and find both academic and professional success.
I hold a Bachelor's in Communication Studies from Cal State Northridge (CSUN) and a Master’s in Social Work from California Baptist University (CBU). I've always been drawn to the power of communication and the beauty of watching others arrive at their own answers—so pursuing higher education in the behavioral and social sciences was the perfect fusion of both callings.
My journey has taken me across the globe. I studied abroad in Heredia, Costa Rica and Havana, Cuba, backpacked through Panama, and lived in Guadalajara, Jalisco, where I earned my TEFL certification. Travel opened my heart to new cultures and expanded my voice and presence in ways I couldn’t have imagined.
I began my professional career as a news reporter in Columbia, Missouri, eventually working my way into a larger market in Las Vegas, Nevada. Reporting sharpened my storytelling skills and taught me the value of staying curious and present with the world. While I’m incredibly proud of each season I find myself in, my passion for social justice and deep compassion for the misunderstood led me down a new path: founding Sasha Consulting, Co.—an agency rooted in trauma-informed education, advocacy, and emotional empowerment.
Through this work, I actively support educational institutions, healthcare providers, and nonprofit organizations, helping them become more trauma-aware, relationally grounded, and systemically responsive. Whether I’m leading a workshop, evaluating a program, or coaching a team, my mission remains the same: to help people and systems heal so they can thrive.
Today, I also serve in the field of social services—supporting individuals navigating mental health challenges, disabilities, and vulnerable life stages—from childhood to elder care. I’m involved in human rights efforts that champion the needs of marginalized communities and advocate for systemic healing.
Whether I’m consulting with a school district, supporting a client, or training a team, my mission is always the same:
To inspire hope, foster healing, and empower others to overcome their challenges—always remembering, “The greater the struggle, the greater the victory.”
In my free time, I love traveling with loved ones, attending symphonies, playing the piano, and serving at my local church.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me! I look forward to connecting with you soon.
Welcome! Let’s explore healing together—through wisdom, compassion, and truth.
